The UADM initiates actively and supports different legislation initiatives that influence positively the development of the branch.

Dmitriy Yovdiy, a Managing Partner of legal company “Legal Assistance Group”, is a Head of Legal committee (dyovdiy@legal-assist.com.ua).

Achievements: 

• We elaborated the arbitration court methodology for prompt and transparent consideration of conflicts between the actors of the branch. If necessary, the project may be launched.
• We developed the modifications to the legislation; they aim at creation of the mechanism for financing, installing and maintaining of subscriber’s mailboxes in apartment houses.
• The necessity to obtain the licence for courier services is cancelled.
• The Public Initiative “For harmonization of Ukrainian legislation on personal data protection” is created.
• We developed “Operation with address data bases” recommendations for market actors.
• The monopoly of the national post operator to put the correspondence and information materials to the mailboxes is abolished.
